Tanner James is the creative force behind Tanner James Photography, founded in the early 2000s out of a passion for art, storytelling, and capturing moments that matter. To build a strong foundation, Tanner pursued formal education in photography, ensuring his business had the structure to thrive long-term.

In addition to his photography, Tanner is also a website designer, bringing an eye for clean design and impactful visuals to help brands and individuals stand out online. His dual skill set allows him to merge photography and design seamlessly, creating a cohesive visual identity that tells a complete story.

Never one to stop learning, Tanner continues to collaborate with and assist other photographers, believing that the best artists remain lifelong students. Over the years, he has worked alongside respected talents such as the late John C. Maginnis (renowned rock photographer), Steven Anderson (portrait and commercial photographer), and Greg Porter of Porter Creative. These experiences shaped his unique perspective and sharpened his eye for both raw energy and polished storytelling.
